The Eastern Bay of Plenty Cancer Fund

The Eastern Bay of Plenty Cancer Fund is dedicated to reducing the impact of cancer and providing support for those affected in our community.

We invest and grow donations to create a yearly distribution that funds local charities and groups, providing crucial information, support, and services to people with Cancer and their families (whānau) in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Each year, approximately 25,000 New Zealanders are diagnosed with cancer. For those living in the Eastern Bay, this often means frequent travel to hospitals in Whakatāne or Tauranga for treatment.

Given that most New Zealanders have a family member who has had Cancer or is currently living with Cancer, the need for local support is deeply felt.

This fund is designed to meet that need, ensuring that vital Cancer services are available right here in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
