Whakatane High School Alumni Endowment Fund

Former Whakatane High School students are keen to ensure that every student attending the school can access a fully rounded education and achieve their full potential and to be able to participate fully in all curricular and extra-curricular activities offered by the school. 

This fund was born from the suggestion of a former student to enable all in the WHS community the opportunity to give back, and to 'pay it forward' for the current and future generations of WHS students. 

We want all students to be able to participate fully in all educational activities offered through Whakatane High School, and to be able to achieve vocational opportunities upon leaving school to achieve their dreams and contribute back to our community in a meaningful way.  This endowment fund is all about filling the gaps, to enable all students to achieve their potential.   

This fund invites donations from local residents, former students, teachers and parents to grow the fund, to provide support where it is most needed to students within the school.
