Funding Criteria
Eastern Bay Women's Impact Fund
The Eastern Bay Women's Impact Fund is a giving circle that brings together local women to provide funding for impactful initiatives which will empower and support women and children across our region.
Expressions of interest are welcome throughout the year, with funding of $50-100,000 being allocated to one impactful project annually, as decided by the donors. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to present their project to the committee.
The successful applicant is usually chosen around August-September each year.
Occasionally there are funds available in excess to what the successful applicant has requested. In this case, other smaller funds may also be distributed at the committee's discretion.
If the donors decide that there are no eligible impactful projects to distribute the funds to in a particular year, then those funds may be held over for the following year.
Grant recipients must:
Allow the Women’s Impact Fund and the Foundation to use their name and or photo in social media and other publicity.
Hold a zoom meeting with representatives of the Women's Impact Fund in February the following year for an update.
Provide a written report of their project's progress in June the following year.
Attend the annual luncheon in October/early November to report back to the donors – either in person or via video.
Failure to meet grant conditions may result in repayment being required
Expressions of Interest
Expressions of Interest are welcome at any time. Applications received after 15 August will be submitted for consideration in the following year's round.
Thank you to our generous Eastern Bay Women's Impact Fund donors for making these funds available to the community. You can read more about the fund here.
