Giving that stays local

Find a way of giving that works for you

Establishing a fund with the Eastern Bay Community Foundation is a wonderful way to support the causes close to your heart and home. We work alongside individuals, families, businesses, and community groups to make giving simple, meaningful, and rewarding.

Our funds support a wide range of causes across the Eastern Bay, including education, health and wellbeing, arts and culture, environmental initiatives, heritage, community development, and more.

So whether your passion is supporting rangatahi, protecting the environment, strengthening local culture, or helping people thrive, we can help you direct your giving where it matters most.

No matter the size of your contribution, your generosity can help strengthen the communities of Ōpōtiki, Whakatāne, and Kawerau for generations to come.

Your gift doesn't just make a difference today.

It helps create opportunities for the future too.

Donations entrusted to the Eastern Bay Community Foundation are invested for the long term.

Each year, the income generated is distributed to support local charities and causes, while a portion is retained to grow the fund.

This creates an ongoing source of funding for our community, helping support everything from education and wellbeing to environmental initiatives, heritage, arts and culture, and community development.

Every gift helps strengthen the Eastern Bay, now and into the future.
