Corporate and business giving
Create meaningful impact through your business
Businesses play a vital role in the strength and success of our communities.
Whether you're looking to support a cause that aligns with your values, invest in the future of the Eastern Bay, engage your staff in giving, or create a lasting legacy, the Eastern Bay Community Foundation can help you develop a giving approach that works for your business.
Through our donor-directed fund model, you can support the people, places, and causes that matter most to your organisation while creating lasting community benefit.
Establish a named business fund
The investment income from your fund is distributed to the causes and community initiatives you care about - creating an enduring legacy while demonstrating your commitment to responsible business and community leadership.
Support a scholarship
Invest in the future workforce of the Eastern Bay by creating or supporting a scholarship programme that reflects your industry, values, and aspirations.
Make regular business contributions
(corporate sponsorship)
Support the Foundation's operational costs, an existing fund, community initiative, or area of interest through ongoing contributions from your business.
Enable workplace giving
Provide employees with the opportunity to support local causes through voluntary payroll giving. Businesses can also choose to match employee contributions to increase their collective impact.
Workplace and payroll giving
Workplace giving allows employees to make regular donations directly from their pay.
Because donations are made through payroll, employees receive the tax benefit immediately and don't need to claim it at the end of the financial year.
Even a small contribution can add up over time. For example, a donation of $7.50 per pay may only reduce take-home pay by around $5 once the tax benefit is applied. Participation is always voluntary.
