Gateway Funeral Services (GFS) remains deeply committed to fostering community resilience and supporting local initiatives. To formalize this vision, the directors of Gateway Funeral Services established a dedicated Business Fund with the Eastern Bay Community Foundation. This strategic philanthropic model allows GFS to make regular monthly contributions, building a sustainable endowment that empowers their team to respond directly to identified community needs.

To date, the GFS Business Fund has distributed over $8,400 to vital local causes, balancing youth development with community wellbeing initiatives. 

The EBCF Business Fund structure offers GFS a flexible model for regular corporate giving. It combines the financial advantages of a structured endowment with the operational flexibility for the business to retain strategic direction over all fund distributions, ensuring their contributions align perfectly with their corporate values.
