Supporting music appreciation and music development in the Eastern Bay of Plenty

The EBOP Music Development Fund

Warner Haldane is a gentleman who has two main passions in life – his community and music.

This Endowment Fund has been set up with a generous donation from Warner to create opportunities for music development within the Eastern Bay of Plenty and will be open for funding applications for groups/individual musicians for initiatives that:

-         Inspire people, especially the young, to become musicians

-         Help musicians develop their skills and experience

-         Encourage people to deepen their knowledge and appreciation of music

-         Supportthe performance of live music.

The Eastern Bay of Plenty has a strong appreciation of music with Brass Bands, Choirs, Orchestras, the Whakatane music school and more.

Music brings people together, regardless of language or background and adds vibrancy to communities, engages the brain, strengthens the sense of belonging and connection with others, and can possibly boost the physical and emotional health of older adult participants.

The EBOP Music Development Fund will add a vibrancy to our community and opportunities for music development within the Eastern Bay of Plenty now and in the future.

We welcome any contributions to help grow this fund and further support Music development in the Eastern Bay. Get in touch if you would like to support this fund or any of our existing funds.
